Topshop Nail Varnish...

Last year, I think it was around this time, I was given a Topshop voucher and I didn't know what to spend it on. I decided I would get a nail varnish from there and some jewellery. Now, I normally get my nail varnish from Avon because 9/10 times they are really good but I saw a colour in Topshop that I really liked so I thought 'ehh, what the heck'.

The colour is Green Room 104. I completely forgot that I bought this until the other day when I was sorting through my stuff and I found it. This is the first time I've worn it.

I'm not sure I 100% like this, the first coat you put on comes out really light and watery. In the photo above I have on 2 coats. In my experience if you put on more than two coats, the nail varnish is really easy to chip.

Do you sometimes find that the nail varnish comes out a different colour than the colour in the pot? Well, with  Topshop, their nail varnish comes out pretty much the same colour. That's something I really like. It kind of bugs me when you think you're getting one colour but the nail varnish turns out to be a completely different shade.
I'm in two minds with this. I think I'd wear this if I was going to a special occasion, like a meal or a party and I'd just put on 3 coats of it because I can take it off the next day and it shouldn't chip if i only wear it for a few hours.
This nail varnish was £5. I don't think it's worth it to be honest. If it wasn't so watery and thin, it would be amazing as I love the colour.
You can still buy this colour on the Topshop website, if anyone is interested.

Has anyone else bought this colour, if so, what do you think? Or has anyone bought a Topshop nail varnish and the same thing has happened to them? Let me know :)
