My Paradise..

Everyone needs that something that takes them to 'happy place', right? For me, that's photography. When I'm behind that lens, capturing a moment, I am the happiest I have ever been. I takes me away from all the crap the goes on in real life. I don't even mind if the photos turn out rubbish, but just having those few hours where everything is forgotten makes up for it. Here's a few from a shoot I went on last week.

All photographs are my own, they were taken in Plymouth, UK in June 2014.

My Few Days In Essex

I travelled up to Essex last Friday to stay with my family like I have done every year since I can remember. I love it up there, I know the stereotype for Essex isn't really the great but trust me they aren't all like that. Plus, the scenery up here is beautiful.

(Not the best picture of Big Ben)

These were taken on Friday when I arrived in London and my uncle had picked us up to take us to Essex and we drove through London.

Saturday:

I went for a walk to Wat Tyler Park (think that's how it's spelt) with my auntie, uncle, cousins, my mum and their dogs for a walk. For some strange reason they had Alpacas there and for £10 I could've walked one. Sadly, they scare me and I thought £10 was a ridiculous price for an animal that could quite easily spit my face.

Sunday:

We didn't really do much Sunday. Sunday was just a chill day. Although I did as you can see, I had fun watching Stan & Maisey (the dogs) playing. My auntie & uncle also cooked an amazing Lamb roast dinner and I found out I don't actually like lamb but the rest was great.

Monday:

We went into Basildon shopping on Monday. We were actually really disappointed as there was hardly any nice things to buy so none of us spent a lot which can be considered as a good thing, I suppose. I did actually end up buying a few things though and we had a Starbucks at the end which was the highlight.

Tuesday:

It was the day to travel home :(
I hated leaving, I wanted to stay for a few more days. My uncle drove us into London to get our coach home and as per usual, London was so busy and there was traffic everywhere so I was able to take pictures while we were driving.

(In case you didn't recognise it, that's the Tower Of London)

(This is Tower Bridge)

We arrived home later than planned and tired, a 6 hour coach journey isn't great. I love Essex and can't wait to travel back there soon.
